Castle 110 pocket hole jig

I was completely unaware of this unit . At first I didn’t like it , but that was until I seen it does shallower 3 degree pocket holes , which are stronger and the material doesn’t have a tendency to move while you’re assembling it .
I was debating to buy Kregs top of the line pocket hole jig till I seen this,but they’re not available in Canada , and a small fortune by the time you get one here .Has anyone used one and can tell their experience

Before I would pay 674 us for a pocket hole driller, Alexis would have to show up at my shop to operate it for me. I have a small one hole at a time tool that i have built many cabinets with.

Do you do that many pocket holes? I personally am not a big fan of them. Just screws usually get loose over time. The wood eventually strips out although that can be repaired easily. I particularly would not use them in drawer construction where the continuous stress from closing the drawer is guaranteed to eventually cause a failure.

They do have a place in the woodworking arsenal of methods. I drilled a couple yesterday to modify a rack for holding all my saws using one of my one at a time jigs.

The only thing I used them for was built ins when I built my bathroom. I assembled the cabinets with them since they are afixed to the wall and will not be moving.
I agree on the drawers, I usually nail and glue them together.

I have a HF single jig and just use them for face frames. They work good for that.

Actually come to think of it I don’t use them a lot . If this thing was a decent price I’d buy one though . People see my shop and think I’m rich ,I have to tell them that I’m just irresponsible
