Password problems

#1

Post by boxmaker1 »

Hi, its me, sunnybob.
had to re register to get in after I lost my password.
I tried three times with the "forgot password" button but did not receive any emails. I tried the "contact administrator" button but got a message that had been disconnected.
So I had to make a whole new registration to get back on the board.

If someone could let me know how to get my old login name back I would be grateful.

Once in a while mine will work properly, then as it is now, I can sign in' get off and have to sign back in again.

Just now, I wanted to go back to the index, and it had me sign back in. I clicked the sign in and it automatically signed me back in.

My Chase Bank account is the one that gives me fits. Every time I log in, I have to submit a new PW. and if I try more than 3 times I have to call in and they give me a temporary PW to get in ,and I have to create a new one of my own. It is really frustrating. Then the next time I try a day or so later, I get an answer that they don't recognize my computer, and it is the same computer I have been using for years.

I do have a feature in the Firefox browser that I can remember the last sign-in that will automatically sign me in when I log on, but I do not want that feature on bank account. It is OK for sites like this but not for secure sites.

Maybe you need a new BANK, just saying.
My facebook does that. lately it says i am not allowed to use it for 24 hours or 36 hours since I did not follow the guidelines.
But, it still works just as it should.
except I have to renew my password each time.
If it was not for my family is France, I would shut the whole thing down.

Re:Changing banks, I have thought of that several times, but I have been with them for a long time and have a good history of banking I hate to move now. Also the help voices is always manned with Indian [India] voices,so have a hunch it is farmed out to their country.
