Surprised myself this time
Same guy who ordered the Armory plaque wanted to know if I could make his motorcycle club logo. Told him I was only good - not great. But he insisted I try. Glued up some 5/4 maple and sharpened the Aspire tools. Used clear shellac to try and limit paint bleeding and crossed my fingers I wasn't going to ruin $40 worth of good maple. Finished size is 22 x 30. I sent him a pic and he said "no stain, finish it natural." Guess he didn't want me to screw it up any more than I did.
