Simple TV stand

#1

Post by honesttjohn »

Project from the recent past. Had some 5/4 x 12 x 48 glued up oak boards and my brand new Kreg Pocket Jig gizmo needing a test. Had to get the CNC involved just a little with a design in the sides. Big nuff for a 65" flat screen. Added some golden oak stain and 4 coats of semi gloss poly.

The test results are in. Retirement is the best job I'm suited for.

Now I know why old guys wear suspenders.

You're making me look bad & a procrastinator!!! SWMBO has been after my lazy arse to built one with cross (X) sides & open shelves.
The one in current use is just fine (for me) but "we" get on a redecorating kick every so often----like ever time I turn around.

Nice job on yours.
I can explain it to you but I can't UNDERSTAND it for you!
Wait a moment, let me overthink it.!
Of course I talk to myself, -- sometimes I need expert advice. :o
