I believe that if the cat is a HE, that would be Pepe" La Pew.
Lets check with one of our dear Canadian Friends, N'est - ce pas vrai?

Je regrette, ce ne pas vrai. La is feminine. Le is masculine.

One got run over a few hundred feet from the house a couple of years ago. It laid there for a few days since neither the road crews nor any passer by wanted to dispose of it. It was close enough that we smelled it all day long. I didn't want to touch it either. Our archery club used to store all our 3D targets in a friends old hay barn. I walked in one day to check on them one day and noticed that there lots of piles of scat on the floor and then I remembered that he told me there were skunks living under the floor, and apparently on the floor too. I eased back out as quietly as I could. Despite how bad skunks smell, their poop has virtually no odor to it.

Not at all Nick, he always harassed me about my French or the lack of it.
I always confused Tous and tout, until he very elegantly and loudly explained that a tout comes out of your butt.

I once caught a cat like this one in my live trap. I wanted to load it up and take him to the country and release it.
Not wanting to be sprayed, I took a plastic drop cloth and walked towards the trap.
I was still several feet from the trap when I decided to take a peek over the top edge of the sheet to get my bearings.
He had turned around and had his butt aimed at me waiting until I did just that.
AS soon as I seen what he was planning, I jerked the drop cloth back up.
It was too late, he must have been practicing just for this occasion since his yellow blob just skimmed the top edge of the sheet and hit me right in the eye.
Well, of course I immediately dropped the sheet to attend to my eye, a move he had already planned for since he shot me again before I could get out of the way.
Our local animal control guy about had a heart attack laughing at me.

This is like a red neck saying, just before the ambulance is called, "you all watch this." Or, "hold my beer".
