For those of you that have an attraction for "ole arn"...this saw is as old as me but in better shape... :D

Saw was completely disassembled, cleaned, dry-lubed and rust removed. Magnetic paddle switch and 10” and 12” blades included. Cast Aluminum wings and cast iron top are flat and mate up perfectly. Original miter gauge and fence align perfectly. Very heavy...be prepared to disassemble to pick up or bring lots of muscle. Pickup only, no shipping. Saw is offered at $627.00. Location is Monroe County, Stroudsburg, PA.

Didn't you drag that out of someone else's basement a few years ago?

And that explains why all the photos are sideways.

LOL...don't know what was different about this set of pics...rotated the heck out of them and just wouldn't come out right...if they were right on thumbnails they were wrong on viewing them...I finally gave up. Interestingly, they worked fine on the other sites I posted them...

...gotta put this on the "to-do" list...

And you're right...even after disassembly when I took it out of the cellar I still had to take it out sideways...LOL...that's probably why the pics come out sideways...

Darra-James Corp. was one of the innumerable makers of home-shop woodworking machinery that sprang up after World War II, this particular business being established in June of 1945. The Darra-James machines were mainly made of aluminum. By January 1948 the company name had changed to ToolKraft Corp.

ToolKraft made home-shop machines that were sold under a variety of labels, including ToolKraft, Darra James, Powr-Kraft (Montgomery Ward), DeWalt (jointer, shaper), Duramark (T. Eaton Co.) and others; look for model numbers with the prefix "THS".

Address (1949 Popular Mechanics): Waterbury 91, Connecticut.

ToolKraft remained in business until the 2010s; for the couple of years they were not making new machines but were providing parts and service. By 2020 their website was no longer working.

SOLD...

The buyer came with his woodworker buddy and they liked it. They're coming back with a trailer and off she goes.

Tried to get rid of the 4" jointer and 12" SCMS but they didn't go for it...

I'm liking Facebook Marketplace...everything I've posted has sold in a few days...
