Same but different
Cut a 1 x 12 x 48" oak board in 1/2 and cut 2 identical signs. Stained one and then tried my hand at painting the other.[/img]

John, you are getting really good at dolling up your creations. Looks good to me. The painting does enhance the picture.

I agree with Herb. All the grain lines in the wood make it a bit hard to pick out the detail but the paint fixes that.
