Not sure if this was just a UK TV show, or the USA had similar in mid 50s.
there were 10 boxes with unknown prizes and the contestant had to answer questions to get to them, and then there was a bidding war to buy the key back off him.
Anyway, my local restaurant / entertainment place commissioned me to make a set to his specs.
He wanted 12 boxes, all 6" x 6" x 6", with a one foot square special prize box on top, all in one unit.
The main frame is just 3/4" x 6" construction timber, with 1/2" ply doors, fixed with piano lid hinge.
He wanted scrambled numbers so I used a random number generator.
The colour scheme was his choice, I skinned the doors with stick on vinyl.

Re: take your pick
I've tried twice to rotate the pic, sorry. Obviously the gold box should be at the top.

That is because you made it too heavy on one side.
It will "right" itself when you click on it.
I am not familiar with the game, but you did a good job on the game boxes.

Re: take your pick
Thank you stick.
this is an excerpt from wiki, on the basic game play;
During the gameplay, contestants would answer a series of questions without using the words yes or no in what was known as the "Yes-No Interlude". If they failed to answer all the questions, they would subsequently be gonged off the stage. If successful, however, contestants would answer more questions to win modest monetary prizes. At the climax of the show, contestants would be offered the choice of whether to "take the money" (take all money they had earned so far) or "open the box", which could contain good prizes such as a holiday or a washing machine. It could also contain booby prizes such as a mousetrap or a bag of sweets.
