I had good luck with them too on my Bandsaw. The top wheel pivot shaft broke, this was a 10 year old bandsaw I bought from a trailer fab company that used it to cut angle iron and sold it to me for $200.
I wanted to put a riser block in it so contacted Ridgid for an new riser block and upper wheel shaft, it came with the new blade guard and riser block along with wheel shaft.I had to pay for the riser block and extended guard, but the broken Item was free.

I don't think I've seen a used Sawstop for sale and the new ones are pretty pricey but you're paying for a saw plus the stop system. As a saw I hear they are pretty good but there are lots of complaints about the saw tripping on things like wet wood and destroying a blade and module. Personally I prefer just to use good work practices but I'm working alone in my shop. If I had to worry about an employee using the saw I might be more inclined to buy one than I am otherwise.
