At a travel agency in Shanghai, I asked the girl behind the counter if she could escort me on a city tour and asked her for her mobile number so I could call her to make arrangements.

A guy standing next to me overheard, tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Don't get excited. What she really said was: 466 136 4293!"

I guess math wasn't your strong suit? How about we start with an easier word problem.

Adding to 10: Ariel was playing basketball. 1 of her shots went in the hoop. 2 of her shots did not go in the hoop. How many shots were there in total?

I only get 10. 1 went in and the next 2 didn't so that is zero, they don't count.
