Sometimes ya just gotta have more wall...

#1

Post by Nickp »

Originally I was going to build a small wall to make a 90deg corner to wall-mount the Dust Collector blower above the separator and barrel. Well...those plans have changed (selling DC) but the wall will come in handy for my clamps and "hang-a-tool" peg board. One side of the wall is sheetrock and the other is pegboard...

...had nothing to do today...

Hell, if you've got nothing to do, head this way to Michigan; I've got a list that will keep you busy!

Nice job on the wall. My next shop will be one I can make some modifications like that

What are doing for a DC if you're selling the one you have?

My shoulder has gotten so bad that I will not be doing the level of projects I had planned...doc says nothing heavier than 10lbs...moving on to scroll sawing and bandsaw boxes. Everything I'll have left can be handled with good shopvac and cyclone separator...

Selling pretty much everything except what I'll keep for house projects.

I'm in "training" to do stuff lefty...LOL...it's a hoot...fly rod, fishing, shooting...it's a whole new world...ya oughta see me throw a ball lefty...

No....I will not do a selfie video...

Absolutely...in case the stream is running right to left...the righties are for the opposite stream direction. Like a box of nails...some are for the wall in front of you and others are for the wall behind you...sometimes you run out of front wall nails and you have to stop.

You know how that goes, right...?

No wonder we're having trouble finding those up here.

Did you have a shoulder replacement? I'm needing both done but my right knee needs to get done first or I won't be able to get out of a chair while it's healing up. Aren't the senior years wonderful?

Tore 3 of the 4 muscles/tendons plus bicep tendon...tendons retracted 4-5cm...only one left is the deltoid. Not enough tissue left to reattach. Shoulder replacement needs attachment points (or the arm falls off...LOL)...originally the doc thought a reverse replacement might work until he looked at the MRI...not a good sign when the doctor gasps... :o

I hope the senior years are wonderful...can't wait to get there...   I'm still waiting for my mid-life crisis...

I tore one bicep tendon about 15 years ago and a year later tore one on the other arm. I do okay lifting until I get my hand up to about level with my elbow. Above that is a problem with anything heavy.
