I actually made this entirely from stuff already in the workshop. That might be a first
Some random woods (because they were there at the time);
Spine is Teak, front is bookmatched zebrano with bubinga accents, back is walnut. leaves are birch ply. front finished with shellac and then wipe on poly, the ret just shellac. Blue flocking.

Very nice box Bob. I love it when I am able to build some thing out of just the stuff I have at hand. This box I made for sandra last year was made out of what ever was in the shop. even the hinges. I made the handles out of scrap pieces.
Of course the top was made for me by my buddy Honest John.
