If I was young again, I would join in a minute. Pay and benefits are a lot better now than when I was in. We started at, @ $65.00 per month and after boot camp were raised up to $75./ month. But we had free room and board and 3 meals a day, plus medical, and uniforms, we had to pay for the cleaning of them tho.We had to dye our own boots black too.Gads what a mess that was we were covered with black dye from head to toe and that stuff don't come off. Even the fitness training was free, on the PT field.

Who would have ever thought that the Chinese had built an underwater mountain in the South China Sea? I bet it is a nuclear missile silo that the navy is calling a mountain for security purposes. It cost the crew the Admiral ,Exec, and Chief, for reckless driving.

Wokeness in the military is being imposed by elected and appointed leaders in the White House, Congress, and the Pentagon who have little understanding of the purpose, character, traditions, and requirements of the institution they are trying to change.
^^^^ it sucks that some climbed all over it...
what was the problem???.. were they pissed that they weren't invited or the show???...

don't forget, those new boots came with a can of black dye in the toe.
