Yesteryear's Dining Room...

the top of the table is Mahogany veneered plank core...
the apron is 4/4 plank and the radius are glue ups...
the feet were salvaged pedestal table...
the chairs were pattern cut from an existing chair...
the chair back's top spindle was salvaged from a ladder back...
the back's lattice was cut from multiple opposing layers of veneer...

the two piece accent china cabinet is veneered BB and cut to order molding, trim and accents...
solid wood rails and stiles...

this was one never ending got nit picked over project...
after these projects, it was the 6 spoon racks.. then the 2 tea carts.. then the 4 cache end tables and then the 2 serving tables...
and the room size never changed...
the real DR was turned into a formal LR...
oh the clutter on top of clutter in this house...
makes Dan in Van's shop look sterile and barren...

the yesteryear series took just over 5 months...
I did no staining, finishing, painting, glass or upholstery... at all...
