@Cherryville Chuck
I say Charles, I am surprised your Canadian equivalent of OHSA has not made the apparel in the photo mandatory PPE. It would take care of the most serious kickback ever.
I imagine the outer layer is high-modulus enough to allow for sizeable impact-cushioning without tearing. Otherwise there would be significant silicon spread in the workshop, and Stick is always warning against getting silicon on wood.
The only downside I can see, is the strain on the vertebral column, especially in older guys. Barring, of course, feelings of personal inadequacy. But such idiosyncratic subjectivities should not stand in the way of good safety regulations.
Or is this another example of ass-hattedness?

On the other hand, it is commendable that a national leader should publicly promote safe workshop practice.

This is a good example where PPE can become hazardous. While it protects against significant impact it also obscures vision increasing tripping hazard potential. I would recommend to him that he downsize from a ZZZ cup size to at least a an HHH or GGG. As for applying a label, I think that's in your realm of expertise since anyone who thinks that is attractive, regardless of gender, needs some counseling.

You might be the only politically correct person on the forum then. At the same time, you never know who's listening in these days.
