Does anyone know who makes this blade?

I’m hoping someone may recognize the brand of saw blade in the photo. It is a bright gold colour. I bought in a lot of miter saw blades at an auction and the printing on the blade is worn off and I can’t remember ever seeing blades this colour for sale anywhere. It’s an impressive looking blade and I’d like to know who made it.

Wrong color. Theirs are more yellowish plus they have a wider border without color by the teeth. Plus I don't see a dealer outside the UK and a few spots in Europe.

I got the blade from an estate auction for a guy that lived just outside Enderby. I shop at all the same tool stores from there south as he would have and I've never come across one that color. I don't get up to Kamloops very often but some of the same stores this way have branches in Kamloops.

I had an idea and checked a few US woodworking stores and it looks like Saw Stop sells a blade that is the right color. https://www.rockler.com/sawstop-80-toot ... -saw-blade

The saw stop color is close but the blade shown doesn't have the expansion cut outs or the hollow grind relief from the center to the teeth inserts. Kind of a special purpose blade.the teeth have a steep forward slope. Is the center hole metric ?

Perhaps it's an industrial blade, not available at retail?

AGE has a 100t Aluminum /NF metal blade which is 100t.

Yours is 102t and hollow ground back 2" from the rim, so it must have a max cutting depth of around 2", like for thin material like alum extrusions or such.
Sheet goods and hard surface blades are hollow ground.

I have also noticed the similarity with Saw Stop blades. I believe they are from the same manufacturer. Saw Stop would be buying them from someone else who brands them Saw Stop. It's a standard 12" blade with a 1" hole. There is no one in our area who sells them but maybe he took a trip down to the coast or found them online.

Do you think it is an older blade, they weren't common til in the late '50's
It doesn't look like it has any wear on the paint, Saw Stop usually has their TM stamped on everything.

Whatever the gold coating is seems to be very durable. The printed information on it isn't. The items of the estate that was being auctioned off were for some type of contractor. There were several sets of scaffolds and some other contractor type tools, I just don't remember what they were now. I think the blades he had were getting used regularly so I don't think they are old.
