The Show & The Workshop

Figured I would show both of the latest...
So Ken was fully moved out in November. WHOOP WHOOP! It took two weekends of sorting and moving around to get somewhat organized, to have it screwed up again after the craft show, and I never made it back in. While we had mild temps in December, I came down with a sinus attack as our Christmas break started, and I was down the entire time with it. At one point, I thought for sure I was gonna end up in traction after the coughing attack after it drained to my lungs. (My own fault - I didn't get the sinuses dried up in time, and in one fell swoop they were drained into my ears and chest.) Things have been moved a little since these pictures were taken; the one cabinet was moved to under the large fan, and that work station was moved over to where the scroll saw was. Ken and I also went through and eliminated quite a bit of junk that was up in the loft. The table with the sander on it now also has the drill press and a new joiner on it. I'll update later, when I get back out in the shop when the weather is better.
ANYway, the show this year sucked. The person who organizes it not only failed to properly promote it, they changed the day, and moved us to an area off the beaten path, so most of the customers where students, (because of the date move, and lack of promotion) so unless you had items that were of interest to the students (the jewelry maker and u-design cap maker) you didn't do all that great. I only pulled in about 1/3 of what I usually do.
So, here's the latest, but maybe not greatest. I have so many ideas I want to do, but temps, energy and gumption just aren't there.
Hoping everyone had a great Christmas and New Years, and lots of love yesterday for Valentines Day. Ken made reservations at the Lion's Den, a restaurant in our area, and we had a nice meal and I drank. (Cosmopolitan and Touch Down).
