Finally got the nerve to try 2 sided carving this summer and offered wooden nickels on my Etsy shop. Have sold quite a few to coin people and for "gifts" for various things. Surprised the heck out of me that they are selling. I did it just to try 2 sided carving. Seemed complicated at first but once the principals were grasped - wasn't hard at all. Now I have to master putting several on the same piece of material so both sides cut right and everything lines up.
