one off the bucket list

Just before the other forum went to hell on a handcart I fulfilled a long held ambition and made a knife.
But me being me, it wasnt just a knife.
With apologies to crocodile dundee, I made a "Thats Not A knife" (known hence forward as TNAK).
The blade is one piece 86 / 70 steel. But then, after a while I got fed up moving it around because its way too big to be practical with its 13" blade and 2 1/2 lb weight so I made a presentation box for it.
I had a very rare plank of rippled beech which I used for the top, with bubinga and maple edges using bird mouth joints
The inside is padded with plastic foam floor squares, flocked in blue. Now I can store it safely.
