CNC Repeat with Minimal Effort
Did a memorial plaque for a motorcycle club member a few months back. Got an email for another one (same club -different member) as close as the first one.
So while the glue was drying on some selct 5/4 New Zealand pine
I brought up the old file, which I save for just such things as this
and changed the dates and name. The program used the exact fonts as before, leaving everything else the same. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Nicely done is right, John. He didn't even draw his first SS check.

Re: CNC Repeat with Minimal Effort
Yes Sir,
As a matter of fact. I have already made some of the rough parts I would need.
Again, I really appreciate your assistance and the beautiful work you did.
Now a project I have been trying to accomplish for near 5 years can be finished.
Thanks John

Re: CNC Repeat with Minimal Effort
As a matter of fact, I have already modified one of the carvings you made. I cut the sides down by removing the upper part and the bearing from my rail and stile bit. It took many small passes to cut the out side edges down to make a thinner edge to it. This one will become the top of a pagoda type jewelry box with three drawers.honesttjohn wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 8:37 pm Thank you sir. Now get busy on that box for Sandra. Since you sent me so many beautiful boards, I will be in the box business for a while yet.
This first one is for Sandra. She loved the boards.
Since I don't know how she gets the pictures from the camera to my computer, without her help, pictures of the work will have to wait until it is finished to post them.
