Recently saw Jet's version of chip separator and wondered how well it works. Just ran across this comparison. I have the Oneida which works well.

Not surprising...ya can't beat the Deputy...I wonder how they might compare with regular use chips or plain ole sawdust...

I have the Dust Deputy. If I am turning acrylic or other plastic a long string is created and it will sometimes get up into the filter. I can only assume it gathers into a ball in the cyclone instead of dropping down through.

The Jet wouldn't work well with most planers. It was interesting that it had a higher air flow but was less efficient.
