My introduction

#1

Post by Warped and Twisted »

Hello guys and gals. My first name is Richard. I’ll be posting as “Warped and Twisted”. I currently live between Anchorage and Eagle River AK 6 miles off the main Highway and at 1900 feet above sea level. My wife and I have lived there for the past 44 years.
I was invited to join this forum by Stick486. Stick486 and I go back a long way. All the way back to the Wood Magazine form. I see a few names here I recognize from other forums I belong to or have belonged to. I’ve been participating in woodworking forums since way back to the “Badger Pond” forum.
I’ll soon be 77 years old. My background in woodworking and carpentry includes 25 years in the local Carpenters 1281 Anchorage AK, 3 year working building maintenance at Fort Richardson AK, and 18 years for the Anchorage School District Carpenter Shop. I’m now retried 4 years or so.
I consider myself an intermediate woodworker with average skills and knowledge. Enough about me the truth will become apparent as I slowly start posting in discussions. 

Don't piss off old people. The older we get the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent !
