Been using an old can opener to pierce the bottom of canned goods like chili. Letting air in the bottom lets the food out the opened top in one big blob and relieves the mess and time to dig it out with a spoon. Made some tips from stainless socket head cap screws and drilled for a press fit of some pieces of welding rod. Then sharpened them up at the grinder. Left a ball on the end to keep the hand from sliding off. Made enough to give away to friends and family.

Don't piss off old people. The older we get the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent !
