BORA Panel Carrier is in the house...
.
The carrier is very sturdy, edges of metal are clean with no burrs, good paint job, height adjustment leg is very smooth and locks work well, tracks straight when rolling, handle on the back side for releasing and latching tilt lock, easy to wheel around, tilt-lock handle for lowering to carry position...need to go get a sheet just to try it out. Height adjusts well for my 3500 tailgate...
So far I'm happy with it...next chance I get it's time for some real sheets to start on the shop cabinets and RAS station...
More to follow...
...and here's the box... Inside the box ...and you get a free clamp when you register... ...parts...note the bearings on the wheels... ...wheels installed...carriage bolts, washers, lock nuts... ...in the up position ...and a spring-loaded locking pin for the base leg...

I could have used one of these back when I built the addition to the garage. I had 13 sheets of 3/4 ply and 27 sheets of 1/2 inch to move from the front drive way to the back of the house. How does it roll on grass and gravel?
Looking at it, I would think it would have 4 wheels and not just 2.
But, if a one armed man can use it, I guess I could too.

Don't know about grass and gravel yet...snow covered.
I hope it works as well as it is advertised...seems like it should.

SNOW ?? Oh ya, I seen a picture in a magazine of that once .
My baby sister lives in Northern Wisconsin. I watch her each year as the seasons change.
First she will post pictures of her yard covered with the first sprinkling of snow, then next she post pictures of her trees looking like a winter post card.
Then I get an email from her complaining that she can't get her car out of the drive way and the plow has not come down her road for a week now.
Then it is, "Well, more of that white s++t.

Yep. This winter has been exceptionally mild so far with little snow but a few years ago when I was still working and traveling up to Ft. Mac we quit snowplowing at 9pm so I could go get some sleep and got the car stuck in the driveway at 4:30 am trying to go to the airport.
I was surprised to see bearings in the wheels. Usually you only see bushings. Maybe.

Re: BORA Panel Carrier is in the house...
Not a bad idea...the way this works is to tilt it onto the other base leg then tilt up the bed to receive the sheet then tilt it back down and push the other leg in. At that point you can wheel it...4 wheels might make it more stable...Bushwhacker wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 6:24 am Looking at it, I would think it would have 4 wheels and not just 2.
Then we could name it "Porta-cane" (after "HurryCane")...

I need a video of it in operation.
Come on Nick, shovel your drive way and do a short video of it in operation.

Woodriver makes a carrier with 4 swivel wheels...looks like a better setup than the Bora...a bit more $...see it at Woodcraft...Bushwhacker wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 6:24 am Looking at it, I would think it would have 4 wheels and not just 2.

That looks like the Sheetrock Panel carts we used to use, only they didn't tilt, and both sides could be loaded on some of them.
