Sleeves for Ridgid spindle sander

#1

Post by Jon »

I've only recently started to use the spindle on my Ridgid combination oscillating belt/spindle sander and am having difficulty finding sleeves that fit the spindle tight enough to stay in place. The ones HD offers for it work well but only come in 80 grit. Any suggestions?

I have no issues with the oscillating belt operation.

Thanks.

Jon I get mine from Klingspor and they fit fine.

Woodcraft has some:

@Herb Stoops

Appreciate the fast response. I have tried some form Woodcraft but they slip quickly and ride up on the spindles. I'll check Amazon as well.

Do you have a link where I can order some from Klingspor?

Thanks.

Jon, if you get on the mailing list they will send you a catalog, and when they have sales they mark them down. A few years ago I bought a bunch when they were on sale and save a chunk of money, still using them. I also buy my Drumsander rolls from them.
