News from down south!

#1

Post by MikeSibley »

I was notified this morning by UPS that my table extension from 4848 to 4896 and the rotary axis assembly will be delivered today. This is only the parts from 8030 for my Avid, but that means that the rest cannot be too far away!

I got the support structures from 8040, but not the machine parts from Avid. There's a nationwide supply chain issue with all sorts of products delayed from the Covid Origin country. Still patiently awaiting delivery of the remainder of the machine. 9-weeks and counting. It isn't Avid's issue, it's the Chinese.

We need to bring critical manufacturing back home. That should be a critical platform in future elections.

When we offshore manufacturing to our potential enemies for cost purposes, we offshore our national security to them. I'm sorry, but the Chinese are purchasing American manufacturing plants and plenty of American land. I'm for one, tired to putting up with these Communist "Chinks" purchasing our country with our own money!

Remember those giant planes Russia was making after the WWII that had something like 24 engines and couldn't get over 10' off the ground. Well they are now doing all the engineering for the Boeing Company. it has been subcontracted out to Russia for the last 10 years or more.

Here is the latest Russian plane, the largest in the world. It must be a tanker ,just to have enough fuel to take off.

Those that trade with the enemy, for their benefit, should be considered TRAITORS...there is a certain penalty for that...! Hang one and all the rest will stop...!

That might be the one I'm thinking of. I see they hung curtains across the windows of that one. Someone must have turned it into a love bus. Just needs a new psychedelic paint job.

You know the old saying about when an old guy with some money buys a Ferrari he's trying to make up for you know what (if you're our ages you know). Putin is supposed to be the richest man in Russia and he's not that big and he's not getting any younger. If a Ferrari is badass just how badass is an Antonov 225? I'm not suggesting that what's going on but it's something to consider.

If you give your enemies control of your raw materials and manufacturing, you will not survive. During the Civil War, the manufacturing was all in the north, so it was just a matter of time irregardless of the political stuff. Let's see, the Biden Administration is outsourcing the energy production to the Arabs and Russia. So, with the New Green Deal, maybe we can fuel the airplanes with pixie dust?

Sorry, I deal with manufacturers for my work and China will undercut them no matter the amount of money that they lose. Kinda like Walmart, when they come to town they cut prices enough to eliminate the competition and once the competition is out of business, they jcack the prices up more than the mom and pop businesses were selling for. They, like China have deep pockets not to mention the Chinese own most of our national debt, so they control it.
